Rose Events Catering provides mobile catering and bar services for private, corporate, and public events. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information provided on our website, marketing materials, quotations, and correspondence, Rose Events Catering makes no guarantees that all details are complete, current, or error-free.

All services are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking. Quotations are indicative and may be subject to change due to alterations in event details, guest numbers, venue requirements, licensing conditions, staffing needs, travel distance, or supplier costs. A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Rose Events Catering.

Rose Events Catering holds relevant public liability insurance and adheres to UK food hygiene and safety regulations. However, we accept no responsibility for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, venue restrictions, supplier failures, power or access issues, or acts of God.

Alcoholic services are provided in accordance with UK licensing laws. Proof of age may be required, and Rose Events Catering reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or is under the legal drinking age.

Rose Events Catering shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of our services, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

By engaging Rose Events Catering, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to our Terms and Conditions.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings with Rose Events Catering are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Rose Events Catering. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the event date.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

2. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining 50% balance is payable 30 days before the event.

  • All payments must be made via the agreed payment method stated on the invoice.

  • Prices quoted are subject to change if event details are amended after booking.

3. Event Details & Changes

Any changes to event details, including guest numbers, timings, location, or services required, must be provided in writing and may result in an amended quote. Rose Events Catering reserves the right to adjust pricing where necessary.

4. Bicycle & Set-Up Requirements

Our catering bicycles are primarily designed for outdoor events. If the client requests an indoor set-up, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure:

  • The bicycle will fit through all access points (including doors, lifts, and corridors).

  • There is sufficient space for safe operation and guest service.

  • The venue has approved indoor use and access in advance.

Rose Events Catering accepts no liability for delays or inability to set up due to insufficient access or space.

5. Access & Parking

The client must ensure suitable access to the event location for delivery, set-up, and collection.

  • Parking must be available on-site or

  • Any parking charges, permits, or fees must be covered by the client

Any additional costs incurred due to lack of parking or access restrictions will be charged to the client.

6. Health & Safety

Rose Events Catering complies with UK food hygiene and safety regulations and holds valid public liability insurance. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe for staff or guests.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

Rose Events Catering cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather, venue restrictions, supplier issues, or acts of God.

8. Liability

Rose Events Catering shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the event, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Acceptance

By paying a deposit and confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.

10. Cancellation Policy

In the event that the client wishes to cancel their booking with Rose Events Catering, the following cancellation terms will apply:

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the event date, no further charges will apply beyond the loss of the deposit.

  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event date, the full remaining balance will be payable.

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and will only be effective from the date they are received by Rose Events Catering.

Rose Events Catering reserves the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, venue access issues, or unforeseen operational issues. In such cases, any payments made (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded, and no further liability will be accepted.

11. Dry Hire Terms

Dry hire refers to the hire of Rose Events Catering equipment only, without staff, stock, glassware, or consumables, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For all dry hire bookings:

  • The client is fully responsible for the care, safety, and security of the hired equipment for the duration of the hire period.

  • The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.

  • Any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the hire period will be charged to the client at full replacement or repair cost.

  • Rose Events Catering accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of dry hire equipment.

  • The client must ensure the equipment is used in a safe and appropriate environment and in accordance with any instructions provided.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring that all relevant licences, permissions, and insurance required for dry hire use are in place.

If the client later wishes to add staffing, drinks stock, or glassware, this can be arranged subject to availability and will be provided under a separate additional quote.

Rose Events Catering reserves the right to refuse dry hire or withdraw equipment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the event environment.
